Hello and welcome to George Clark's official website!

George Clark, long-time blues drummer and vocalist of the Pacific Northwest, has recently relocated from Bellingham, WA to Las Vegas. Experienced all genres but specializing in Blues, Funk, R&B, Rock and Jazz, George has had many influences including Kenny Aronoff, Neil Pert, Dave Weckl, Chris Layton (SRV), Omar Hakim, Stewart Copeland, John Bonham,Tony Williams, Buddy Rich,Dennis Chambers, Randy Hayes(Coco Montoya), Charlie Coccia (Eric Sardinas), and others. He has backed the likes of Fat James and Adrian Clarke,  two of Washington state's premiere blues guitarists.

















Most recently:
The Cathouse Blues Band took the stage on Saturday, Aug.4,2007 at The Mt.Baker Rythym and Blues Festival in Deming,Washington and wowed 2,000 avid blues fans. George's drum solo (playing on this website) was featured in the band's rockin' version of "Standin' On Shaky Ground" . A new LIVE CD, recorded at this festival, will be released by January, 2008 entitled
Cathouse Blues Band, Nice and Hot! and will be available at CD Baby.

George is currently playing Jazz with Dick Fazio at Pogo's in west Las Vegas every friday night

George will be working on a CD with Phil "Fang" Volk, original bass player for Paul Revere and the Raiders.

George recently co-produced and played drums on two CD's for The Cathouse Blues Band based in Bellingham,WA. Also, look for George appearing in Las Vegas, backing veteran blues performer Huck Daniels.

In 1966, George played for Northwest seminal rock/punk band The Dynamics backing rocker Freddy "Boom-Boom" Canon when he opened for Eric Burdon and The Animals to a crowd of 10,000 at Spokane Coliseum in Spokane, WA. He's played for Dick and DeeDee, Brian Hyland, Merrilee Rush ("Angel of the Morning"), blues legends Hubert Sumlin, Henry Gray and Buck Sinegal, Jimmy Murphy (father of country star Jamie O"Neal), Cathouse Blues Band, twice nominated by Washington Blues Society 2003 & 2004 for Best Washington Blues CD.
